Normal height only!

Hi, my 2007 2.7 RRS has been getting the dreaded 'bong warning' and yellow suspension light on with message 'normal height only'.
It has happened twice since Friday. If i turn engine off then start again it disappears, Only to eventually return.
I read the replacement end cap fix where the cap is cracked between the 2 collets and expected it to be this. But, I have only had the car a few weeks and i have a receipt for a new LR061663 AMK compressor, air tank, actuator and reprogram of ECU software from August 2015 (£1030.73!).
Has anybody any idea where i should start to look? The compressor has, i think got a limited 2 year warranty but does stipulate that warranty is void if air struts and i think it said bags? are not replaced.

Regards,

Gary.

Hi Geoff, did as you suggested:

C1A20 State 64
Pressure increases too slowly when filling reservoir.

Any suggestions?

Gary.

Ok, took cover off and sprayed everywhere with leak detector. Nothing!
Sprayed all tank, nothing!
How long is compressor supposed to run for?
Gary.

Not long really if you put it up to off road height as soon as it's reached it in theory the compressor should then turn off and it should be the same from access height to normal and it will come on every now and then but after start up it stays on for a a few mins then there could be an air leak somewhere Thumbs Up

I have a very similar problem After a few minutes shows me Normal height only.I suspect the compressor needs repair.I know I can fix it myself.
I only have such a small problem I can not find where in the car it is fitted, Anyone can recommend some not too expensive Diagnostic tools i have obd2 elm327 But it does not detect any fault codes

As stated all LR genuine parts have a two year warranty, if in doubt get it back to dealer quick as you are running out of warranty. John

please help me. Is it all related to a damaged compressor?
