gVif Installation

Hi Guys,

I am installing a gvif and reversing camera over the next couple of days.

I searched for a guide and have only managed to piece bits together from various threads so thought I would put a thread together with links and photo's just to show how it was done in the hope that it might help someone else!

I am no spanner monkey but I am fairly competent and I am sure if I can do most people can!

I've got this already under my passenger seat for some rear screens, can they used with the reverse camera?

Looking at that you could plug a camera in but you would only get the picture on the rear screens, you don't appear to have a gVif installed.

Once you have the gVif it is pretty easy to install the only hard bit is the cable route and making it look neat.

Camera I used: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Custom-Fit-Range...SwFqNZWL4C - Really good and has the lines built into the camera, Replaces your existing boot release.

gVif I used: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Range-Rover-GVIF...SwNSxVQ6qF

I will try and get the instructions done this week - In the meantime feel free to ask any questions
