I would go dynamic but I'm biased. Dynamic mode is great fun and you get off-road goodies as well. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top
Gone: MY16 RRS2 3.0 SDV6 Autobiography Dynamic, Carpathian Grey & Santorini Black Sliding Pano/Ebony & Ivory 2 Tone
Gone: MY13 RRS 3.0 SDV6 HSE Black Edition, Orkney Grey/Ivory
Gone: MY09 RRS 2.7 TDV6 HSE, Santorini Black/Almond

I have driven both. the Dynamic has the edge if you enjoy spirited driving.

If not, and if you don't need the low ratio off road stuff, save your money. The non dynamic car I drove was, I felt, a touch quicker because of its lower weight. MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

Hi. I'm new to the Forum and I have been looking at both. One thing I have noticed is that you cannot get the stealth pack on the HSE, and I want to spec that as it looks great imo!

England 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Santorini Black

I went from a HSE Dynamic to a HSE and to be honest I haven't noticed much difference in the handling

If you like driving quickly and keenly around bends then the Dynamic is the one - if you are a sedate driver who likes comfort then a HSE is just fine.

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

If you want to go further offroad than the golf course car park then the Dynamic will give you the transfer box and low ratios as well as e-Diff and the Dynamic mode on the terrain response - IIRC Dynamic has Auto TR and the non-dynamic doesn't too. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Seems the second touch-screen is already standard for MY18, for climate control etc, similar like the Velar's.
The "capacitive" underlines this.
