Looks good. Got a "ok, if you like" from management which is a "yes" in normal language. Thumbs Up

A potter around the course, the stands and maybe the museum sounds like a good day out. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Embarassed i dont have any pics from last year Wayne! It was a great day and included in the ticket was the motor museum. The grounds and gardens around the house are beautiful and they even had a guy doing Falconry demonstrations.

The offroad course was run on allotted time slots which I believe was around 15 and we booked it as soon as we arrived because it seemed very popular. The course was run by Devon Land Rover experience and the same instuctors we had on our trek day Thumbs Up 2003 BMW M5 - 5 Litres of V8 Optimax Slurping Goodness in Carbon Black

Chris, my comment was aimed at Socast and his "show pony"! Rolling with laughter I believe you if you say you went around the course! Thumbs Up

I'd like a trip around the museum as I still haven't been there. I thought I might book two trips around the off road course - one for me, one for Jenny to have a go. Thumbs Up

I did recognise one of the LRE instructors in the video - the chap who can't navigate! Whistle Rolling with laughter 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Looking forward to this.

For those that have done this before, how challenging is the Forest Drive? Just a green lane type drive down a muddy track? or something more serious? Merc C220 estate Sport AMG

Hi Bill,

The forest drive is fairly tame and nothing that a standard non-modified Land Rover wouldnt manage with ease. The drive is vetted and driven by Land Rover experience staff prior to the event and all foliage trimmed back too. There were a couple of muddy sections but nothing to worry about.

Its a nice gentle little trek in the forest with a few gradients thrown in and makes for a fun 30 minutes, unless it rains Whistle

Hope this helps Thumbs Up 2003 BMW M5 - 5 Litres of V8 Optimax Slurping Goodness in Carbon Black
