I have just removed 22's and fitted 20's which has improved the ride by 100% but the missus hates how it looks now but I don't mind it so it's personal preference really, one other point if yours has the brembo brakes fitted then you need to check that 19's will clear the calipers before you commit. If yours doesn't have big Brembo brakes, you're much more comfortable with 19".
If you need to run 20" due to your brakes (or for looks), use 275/45 instead of the stock /40 profile, there is a perceptible difference in terms of comfort. Regards etc.,

What looks best is a personal thing. I like 19 in wheels with deeper sidewall tyres on a 4x4. Big wheels with rubber band tyres look daft on a big vehicle like the RRS - save them for Porsches etc.

19in wheels will generally ride better than the 20s. Both can be run with a deeper sidewall than standard and this improves things for both wheel sizes.

Whatever wheel you go for, make sure it is load rated correctly and that the tyre is also correctly load rated. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

LR made 2 types of 19in RRS wheels that fit over the Brembo callipers. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

I believe they can be traced back to Disco3's from G4 Challenge, they ran Brembo brakes IIRC. Which models are those 19" exactly? Regards etc.,

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

This is one that will fit - it is the Disco3 HSE OEM wheel and I have the Goodyear Eagle MTRs on them for off-roading

I don't think I ever actually used them as a G4 D3 owner saw I had them and made me a great off for them for his car as it was running on road biased tyres on non LR wheels.

This one will also fit as I have them here with Ice and Snow tyres that I ran my TDv8 on in the winters

Here they are fitted to my TDV8

In the weather I bought the tyres for!

I also found this photo from when I had 3 sets of wheels for the TDv8 Embarassed Summers on the OEM wheels, the MTRs and the Ice and Snow.

There were then a further two sets of wheels as well in my garage for my Defender.......

There is also a set of 18" Compomotive wheels that were specially made for the Bowler Nemisis RRS-a-like that will fit but they are hugely expensive and very very difficult to find. And the car cost >£120,000 too....... for a space frame with a tuned 4.2S/C covered by a fibreglass body - mind it was a pretty successful full on offroad racing car like this....

Personally I preferred it in orange....

Sadly, the EXR-S project was shelved. CPP in Coventry was earmarked to produce 200+ a year for Bowler but they were embroiled in a deal that went bad with Spyker and the struggling company were then rescued by a city based firm, but not before Antanov reputedly siphoned off huge amounts of cash from the business.
It was a nice bit of business for me as I was given all the PR photography work for both the Bowler and Spyker projects and thought it would run to a nice additional income lasting a lot longer than it did.

I'm pleased Bowler survived the fallout though, would have been a shame to lose them for good.

There is always the option of the newer speck wheels. 20's with 255/55/20 tyres. It eliminates the wheels looking to small and increases comfort. They fit perfectly without any rubbing MY12 RRS HSE

The only problem is:

Specification  Sidewall  Radius  Diameter  Circumference    Revs/km  Difference
275/40-20         110mm   364mm     728mm         2287mm        437        0.0%
255/55-20         140mm   394mm     788mm         2477mm        404        8.3%
 Regards etc.,

255/50R20 or 275/45R20 will make the speedo almost 100% accurate with GPS. Any bigger and the speedo will be underreading...

275/45R20 is only 4% larger than stock, though.

Specification  Sidewall  Radius  Diameter  Circumference    Revs/km  Difference
275/40-20         110mm   364mm     728mm         2287mm        437        0.0%
275/45-20         124mm   378mm     756mm         2373mm        421        3.8%

I find them 100% GPS-accurate, 255/55 are by more then double the percentage larger... Mind you, it's easily corrected with the IID Tool I believe? Regards etc.,
