Anyone fit xtrons Hd908 rear headrest entertainment

Hello all.
I have TV in the front of my RRS, but I am looking to add screens to the headrests for the little ones in the back.
The xtrons hd 908 are the perfect size to replace the existing headrests, and at less than £200 they look like a bargain.
Has anyone used these? If so, what is the quality like?.
Or does anyone have a suggestion. ( I want something fixed as get fed up of carting tat about)
Thanks in advance

Cheers mani. I've been looking for a few weeks, the xtrons are roughly the same size as the originals. So would be great to get the opinion of someone who has seen them in the flesh. MY12 RRS HSE

I've fitted these exact same ones, can't complain really, can play from SD or USB too to save carrying multiple DVD's.

Had them about six months and still as new but the novelty has worn off so the kids don't use them as much.

If I was to pick fault it would there is a couple of niggles...
You can only play video from the one side to the other and not both ways. Worth noting when fitting as I fitted the master on my youngest kids side.

Also they aren't as deep as standard headrests making it unusable as a headrest really as its too far back, but this seems to a problem with most aftermarket set ups.

But defiantly worth the money, especially on long trips!

Might have some pics in my gallery, if not I'll put some up later.

i have a set of Xtrons, but a different model to these. The ones in the pics above look a lot neater than mine. The ones I have are great as dvd players but worse than hopeless as headrests

I am wanting screens in my RRS but wasn't sure about the fitting so I got the Xtron HD909 in grey (I need black for the RRS) to go in my P38 as a test install. I got as far as pulling out the old headrest to find the 'tubes' in the seats appear to be blocked, as in no way for the cables to come out at the bottom. I reckon I might need to remove the seat leather to try and modify...so the HD909's are sitting in a box still!

Other than any hints for the above, is fitting these to the RRS straightforward? I saw in another post that you can release the clips at the bottom and stick your arm up, but can the cables just be poked into the seat tubes and grabbed at the bottom?
