Polishing your Tip...

Hello Folks

As the title, how do you lot polish your tips...as in exhaust tips?

I started using some alloy polish I had lying around but stopped as it seemed to be too aggressive, although felt like liquid. Are they polished stainless, or chrome? I don't think chrome but tbh I'm not sure as they are so dirty that soap isn't cleaning adn I don't want to polish more..

Having looked at those polishes I checked out the blurb on the stuff I have and I think I screwed up and used the metal restorer rather than the polish, which is why it may have been too aggressive. I have now ordered some of those cones though as I can think of many uses for them.

Thanks

I bought several at the time also. They are handy, not the heaviest of duty items and if you go too hard they do tear, but for the price you pay they do the job and then you can throw away if ruined.
