2008 seat movement when ignition on ignition off

Hi all, as the title, wen I switch ignition on or of my seat moves. I'm sure it's call called access comfort or something 🤔 Anyway, is there a way of switching it off as it's doing my head in ? I could turn it off in my previous cars but can't figure out how to do it ? I set my seat to where I want it but it keeps moving so I have to reset it ? Thanks all !

If it's the same as mine, you can access it from the steering wheel right hand control, somewhere in the set up menu.

It should go back to the place you set it though anyway. Merc C220 estate Sport AMG

turn ignition on
press the button on the end of the indicator stalk until it displays SETTINGS

now use the radio buttons on the steering wheel to cycle thru the options. >> ?

I think the option you want is LAZY entry.

when finish the stalk button saves settings

If you have an electric steering column, switch the knob from AUTO to off,

As Andy says. The knob can be found halfway down the steering column on the left had side Robin

Strange my MY13 A/B has the same rotary switch on the column as mentioned by Andy, either auto or manual position

Mine does too but, on mine, that control just affects steering wheel movement, not the seat movement. Merc C220 estate Sport AMG

Not sure then because mine controls the seat as well as column when in the auto position.
