Red brake calliper option

I'm trying to finalise a spec for my RRS order. I see the option for red, brembo labelled callipers. Are these any different to the standard calliper apart from colour and labelling. I don't want to pay for the option if there's no improvement in braking.
Thanks Tim

If it has brembos on then it's purely a cosmetic thing. Depending on the colour of the car they do make a visual difference. Much better IMO.

I looking at an HSE, are the standard brakes on this unpainted Brembo or does the option include upgraded brakes as well as red paint and decals?

My HSE D came with unpainted Brembos.

Lots of stories of the paint flaking off on the option. MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

They are really not difficult to paint yourself if you really want to. MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

Certainly don't want to give LR £345.00 to paint them red for me.

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

These are mine , bought the car , rusty looking terrible brembo brakes at first , done them myself with red hammerite, wire brush and a good clean , two good coats of red , left overnight to dry , and they look fantastic !
Breaks the car up ( mines java black ) and adds a touch of colour.
Bought brembo heat resistant stickers off the net , gives it all that proper look 👍🏻

Good job! Excellent final touch with the sticker.

As regards appearance, I swapped an Orkney Grey Evoque for a Waitomo Grey RRS Autobiography (red Brembos standard) and our post lady thought it was the same car except I'd changed the brake colour to red! Shocked So, they must be pretty stand out if it's the only difference someone notices between these two cars!
