Reversing sensors

Hi all, just wondering if anyone knows how to check the reversing sensors. When reverse is selected it get a long beeep but they dont work, according to the manual this means there is a fault somewhere. any ideas/help would be appreciated. Bow down Bow down

Lots of info on here for sensors, seems to be quite common. While the mrs holds it in reverse you can bend down and listen to them. They make a very faint clicking noise, but that does not mean its a sensor. Reading other member posts its also common for the loom to fail, and in other cases the receiver module in the boot fails. So even if you do find the sensor out it might be the loom Sad . I am facing exactly the same job this weekend, bumper off to get to the wiring and sensors . An OBD fault port reader will let you know what the diagnostics system reports.

I have read other posts that indicate you may need the fault code clearing after fix, so might be a friendly garage to reset.
