We purchased our RRS2 in December having previously had the Disco 4 for three years. On the whole we are very impressed but have one niggle at the moment and that is no traffic updates when using Nav set on destination. Dealer has stated that for this to work no Sim is required. We have not yet got around to purchasing a data sim. Having looked all through the settings and ensuring traffic is selected, still no updates available according to description within settings. I noticed that on the info section

it says that the connected services licence is not yet validated, could this be the issue and if so how do I validate.
We have the incontrol app and this works correctly, remote start, tracking, vehicle security status etc.
Would welcome any suggestions.

For these additional services your car needs a data connection, either via a Wifi hotspot or via a data enabled SIM.
