Haven't been able to recharge since Wednesday so currently being used as pure Hybrid and still managing to get 30-35 mpg - still better than the RRS diesel and surprisingly comfortable eating up the miles Mr. Green

Poke away I'm still smiling Very Happy Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

The funniest bit about Clarkson is the people who buy in to what he says. He has publicly stated that he doesn't believe / agree with some/most of what he says on the telly etc. He's an actor, effectively. Sadly there are lots who see his supposed bigotry as a yard stick to base their own hatred. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Day 5 without electric recharge touring Cotswolds on mainly country lanes and B roads with some warmer temperatures and managing 37 mpg Cool

I was worried how efficiently a 2 tonne petrol SUV would perform when electric unavailable but not now Mr. Green

Even took it through a Ford today and didn't get electrocuted or stranded mid stream Thumbs Up Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Mpg is better than expected - I filled up when we arrived and plan to fill before I recharge to get an accurate figure Thumbs Up

According to technical specification wading depth is 400mm which is confusing as handbook advises against driving on flooded roads due to risk of damage to electrics Confused

I can't see the Scania overhead cable system working out - far better to put containers on electric trains and have electric trucks for local transport Confused Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Muddy what prompted the post above? Too many volts through the heated seats and steering wheel? Even better to send all the containers between UK cities by ship/barge and keep the cargo off the roads and rattlers. Then there might be a few more jobs for UK seamen. To get them inland we need to kick all the pleasure boats off the canals and widen them, put proper automated locks on them and stop living in the 1850's nostalgia / theme park much of England has become. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Dear Mr Mod (npinks)

First of all you talking about a Yorkshireman on a penny saving mission, remember he had to have blood pressure tablets when he got the invoice for his "claimed" 50th. BC claims Muddy is only counting the leap years.

Secondly, B&B Question Question I understood he was Squatting Rolling with laughter Ner Ner

Nick is more Yorkshireman than me Whistle

Hotel car park was too far from building and holiday cottage is too far from vehicle too - I did consider bringing an extension cable but to be honest it's doing so well it's not worth the hassle Rolling Eyes Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Today best trip so far without charging - 37 miles with 5 adults and dog - 41.4 mpg Mr. Green

So over the last week I've done 278 miles without recharging and averaged 34.7 mpg - I can live with that when I'm away from charging facilities - first time since I collected in September Cool Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW
