1. Should this be in off topic? Whatever the price may suggest, it is still an RRS.
2. Why are you browsing for sale RRSs muddy? Shocked Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top

I wasn't sure where to put it as I didn't want to promote the sale so decided it should be off topic with the rest of the jokes and humour Laughing Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Locking rear diff has always been an option on RRS even at launch, all S/C's came with it as standard but very few diesel buyers specced them unless it was with the HST kit. All HSE Dynamics and AB Dynamics and SVR L494's have it as standard and it is a wonderfully useful addition to the off-road armoury and enables me to take mine places I think would be difficult to go normally on 22" wheels. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced

Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

I came across it searching for a series 2 LR Mr. Green

Accompanied some friends to a Lexus event on Sunday but left my wallet at home Wink

Pity they don't do a phev because they're much nicer inside than the Mitsubishi - although they're dearer so I guess it's all relevant Sad Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Problem is Muddy, and I HATE to say this, but 4X4 PHEV technology wise, then Mitsubishi is out in front....for the time being anyway.
But have you looked at Tesla. In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures

I looked into Tesla but no no dealers nr me, wasn't sure about relying totally on battery and read reports company finances were precarious

Mitsubishi on the other hand a very old company that seemed safe bet and now part of Nissan so future looks secure

Wouldn't mind trying a Tesla next or i-pace now I'm more relaxed about the battery concept Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

I read in the latest What Car that Mitsubishi has launched a new Outlander PHEV with better electric range.................. now you are supposed to get 20 miles in electric only mode Rolling with laughter even the Renault ZOE just got a range increase from 110 miles to 250 miles thanks to better batteries.

I too was interested in the Tesla X but recently I received an email from them telling me that they have dropped the lower battery powered models and are only selling it in the UK with the P90D + Ludicrous Model with 340 mile range and prices start at 120,000. For that sort of money and performance I would prefer to spend buy an RRS SVR or FFRR 5.0S/C 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I was getting 30 miles electric in September/October but dropped to 20 at moment with cold weather

Next phev is going to have 75 mile range they claim

Remember phev has a petrol engine so limits amount of batteries it can carry - Zoe/Leaf/Tesla are totally electric so more batteries and range pure EV Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

I agree with Tim, Tesla prices are way over the top, plus their dealer support is non existent, however they have set the goal posts with their technology. In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures

Tesla X is roadtested in Autocar today, they state prices are on par with RRS. It does well but is criticised on a couple of counts but in the verdict it comes third behind, in 1st place, RRS 5.0S/C Autobiography and 2nd was the new Audi Q7. Problem highlighted was short range for motorway trips - 200 miles on a charge providing you don't use the ludicrous facility too often!
Base car comes with steel springs for your 79k, they tested a car with air springs. Handling was also marked down as was some of the interior quality. RRS really beat it hands down for comfort, off-road ability and quality of build!

Regarding dealer support - in Scotland there is a single servicing agent and no sales outlet, only a couple of their special Supercharger points too. Nearest dealer to me in Central Scotland is in Manchester IIRC, but as I buy new cars in West London that isn't of great concern. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
