Multi was my bike before the GS. Loved the engine but the bike did not go off road to well . Was a very interesting time removing the rear wheel when you had a flat, that big nut was very hard to get off. M16 SVD8 ,4.4 HSE with a few extras, Sold R50 , Wife SQ5 , BMW R1200GSW.

Bought a Yamaha FS1E when I was 16 then an Honda MTX so I could get to work - loved them in summer but after a few crashes on icy roads in Scottish winter decided a car would suit me better and sat my driving test and the rest as they say is history Wink

On a hot sunny day I watch the bikes with envy but then I remember the bruises and how warm and safe my 4x4s are and it passes Laughing

My cousin had more stamina than me - he also has more pins and plates and used many of his 9 lives on whatever insane bike was launched at the time but now he has kids and responsibilities he's hung up his helmet and leathers Sad

Be safe out there guys Bow down

Oh and the rest of you in your armchair cruisers chilling on auto - remember to check twice because it hurts bikers more than you when you pull out or change lanes and never saw them Whistle Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Still hoping for a S2 one day!

Hi,

I live in hope VFR750 was the last one

and as Muddy comments reminds me of crashes, the worst was when a Funeral Hearse driver pulled out from a side road in front of me Shocked Shocked it was the bus coming the other way or into his bonnet

does not matter I was in the right it still hurt Rolling Eyes

I have two bikes, a BMW R1200 LC GS Adventure and a Kawasaki ZZR 1400. I usually tour on the BMW but I might just take the Kwak this year for a bit of a change. Thumbs Up

Use to own a R1 too, next to my Harley. Too many high speed tickets. Got rid of it
