Hi,
For the last few days I have been getting the above two messages. They reset when the ignition is turned off and on again. They always come up together, they don't always come back up after the engine has been stopped and started. If I am running with cruise engaged, it alarms and disengages. I don't know why the ride height and cruse control radar are connected. Has anyone had a similar fault? My car is still in warranty, but I am 35 miles from the dealer. I will book in next week, but was just interested to see if anyone has had this fault.

HI, Same issue for me this morning did you find a fix?

I have this same issue but it doesnt look like anyone has offered any advice as yet? I thought it was because my battery was on its way out but now i have a new one i still have these warning lights pop up together. Can anyone advise what they think it is? Like ppl above i didnt think they were connected. Thanks

Im going to try a hard reset tomorrow.

Check the detector head for the adaptive cruise is clean and has no road salt / dirt on it and check that all your tail lights are working - a blown lamp causes havoc and throws up loads of spurious warning messages. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I will check my bulbs tomorrow but i would have thought the canbus system would let you know if a bulb goes out like on most modern vehicles?

Hi everyone, so i did a hard reset and this didnt work and i have found out today that my battery is fine but it seems my issue is with my alternator and its when my car is stood on tick over that my voltage goes from 12.2v slowly up to 14.8 v but only when you rev the car up, So if i start my car up the alternator doesnt look like its kicking in until i start reviing then its a 1 minute wait watching the voltage creep up and as it gets to about 13.2v i then get the error messages "only normal height mode available " followed by "forward alert not available".

So what i did was start the car and rev high so i got the voltage to 14v + very quickly now the engine was warm i could do this and by keeping the revs up i.e driving i didnt get the error messages.

Is there any reason why my alternator wouldnt work straight away? One idea was the intelligent battery sensor could this be broke or could this just be a sign my alternator is on its dying days? Any advice i would be grateful for. Thanks
