YAW Sensor

After having a few issues with my RRS I finally got a diagnostic machine plugged in.
The error that came up was related to the YAW sensor. The error code was related to open circuit YAW sensor.

The symptoms I am getting are Suspension Lowered, HDC System Unavailable and Special Programs not available along with the traction control light on.

Does anybody know the location of this sensor? Or have any thoughts on how to resolve this?

In the D3 it's under the carpet below the centre floor console between the front seats. I would guess that it's in the same place in the RRS.

Thanks for the help. Much appreciated.

The fault codes I have are

C1A98 Yaw Rate Sensor Circuit
U0416
U0421

I'm beginning to think it may be an issue with the wiring to the yaw sensor

I'm hoping somebody else can share their thoughts Smile

U0416 is invalid data received from vehicle dynamics control module
U0421 is invalid data received from the ride level control module

Not sure whether that helps or not. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Ok, where were they corroded? Near the door or closer to it - below the console?
