Thanks for all the advice guys.
This is just a follow up. As I was on Holiday all last week down in Devon I popped back in to Pimp My Range to just buy the side steps and have a go at fitting them myself as many people had said they are not to bad to fit but when I got there they offered to fit them then and there for free and fair play to them 45 minuets later they were all done and I was back on the road really good service and the best bit I didn't have to get my hands dirty Lol. Very Happy

Once again thanks for the advice.

Result. Thumbs Up

Thanks for the update, but i would be inclined to check all the bolts are tight. Laughing 45 minutes is pretty dam quick to fit both side steps.

I also used this site for a leather gear knob on which didn't arrive I spoke to Jason and he blamed the courier this went on until 12th of June
I finally got my refund when I made it clear I would drive down from Glasgow to get my money on a matter of principle
Jason then sent a certified cheque which cleared
I would advise people not to order anything from pimpmyrange.co.uk or speed culture as these are the same company
And the so called Jason actually owns the business

Pimp my Range

Guys, i wish i had read this lot before ordering some parts for my Disco...

I ordered 5 items from them 14 months ago... Had 3 of them, been waiting for the last 2 for months... Spoke to them 3 weeks ago and said if you can't provide the goods, then give me a refund. Ordered had taken that long that my Visda had expired, they said they would send a cheque. suprise suprise, no cheque... called them every day since and usual crap, they have even given me a postal tracking number, i bet it is for something else or a scam. I am onto my bank tomorrow to get then to chase under the Visa insurance?

J

They are still in business...

Hi guys.
I'm so sorry I didn't read this before ordering... Big Cry
I registrerd today, only to give you an update on Jason and Pimp my Range.
They are still in business, and are carrying on as usual...

I ordered a steering wheel for my Range Rover on august 4.
Paid in full on august 8.
Countless e-mails ever since. "It will be sent next week... bla, bla, bla... Sometimes he gets back with me, sometimes he don't... Nothing new here Rolling Eyes

Today it's september 21. The steering wheel is still not shipped Censored

Should I even bother to try to cancel my order and pray for a refund, or just keep on bugging him and hoping for a mirical some day?

What do you think?

Very Happy That would be my first choice, by far!!!
Unfortunatly I don't have that kind of connections (in Devon Wink )

I sent him an E-mail, informing him that I would contact his local police, if he didn't send the package ASAP Evil or Very Mad

...and belive it or not... the other day, I received a notification from the Norwegian customs - A package from UK has arrived Question

It has no description of the content or any receipt showing the value of the content... I guess he's hoping for the cutoms to return the package?

The exciting part now is:
Will I get the package, and if I do, what's inside Confused

I'll keep you posted!!

Gentlemen, STOP THE PRESS!!
After 3 months of mails and frustrations, last friday the package arrived.
And wait for it... indside there was a beautiful new steering wheel Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
Only question remaining, is why the h... did he/they not ship it 3 months ago?
They could have a lot of happy customers and a great business, if they just wanted to???
Very hard to understand.
