United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Orkney Grey

Hi All,
A quick update so you don't make the same assumption I made, I've learned from Bodsy that the Evoke blipper is different to the one needed for the RRS. ... needless to say, correct blipper is on its way thanks to Bodsy.
Cheers

Just to finish this one off from my point of view...
New blipper arrived and paired with FBH using the 'remove the fuse' method and now working fine.

So my MY2012 AB had the antenna factory fitted

Cheers

Depends on what the dash looks like, if you are facelifted, then the screen will have an option on the home screen for Timed Climate or it will have a space where it would be. Post a pic up. Thumbs Up
If yours is not facelifted, then I'm afraid you can't use this kit, but I do another remote that would be suitable. Thumbs Up Bodsys Brake Bible

Scotland 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Fuji White

I bought one of these kits from Bodsy and Disco Mikey fitted it. Works great!

One question - perhaps a stupid one!

Is there anyway to control the temperature of the air in the cabin out when the FBH fires?

I sat in the car this morn to check if was working ok and yes warmish air was blowing in from the window vents and in the footwell but it was not enough to warm the cabin sufficiently when outside was 6 degrees. Perhaps if it fired for more than 20 mins it might?

I set the temp on the heater controls to high last night when i turned the car off. Does this make any difference? Does the 'car' know how cold it is outside and therefore how warm to blow from the FBH, or does it take the heater controls into account? Or none of the above!

To answer your questions
Q. Is there anyway to control the temperature of the air in the cabin out when the FBH fires?
A. No.

A. It takes time to warm the water around the engine/heater it won't be warm straight away. After 20 minutes, the temp measure will usually have moved, but It will never be 'hot' using just the park heater, but it does try to warm the water up to 76degrees C

I set the temp on the heater controls to high last night when i turned the car off. Does this make any difference? Does the 'car' know how cold it is outside and therefore how warm to blow from the FBH, or does it take the heater controls into account? Or none of the above!
A. Heater control temperature makes no real difference. The park heater logic will determine the power of the fan and the position of the venting to window or face.

hope that helps.

Hi Bodsy. I have a 2008 TDV8. Having scanned through all the stuff on remote FBH I believe you have a kit that could be fitted to my RRS.
1) Is that so?
2) How much are we talking about to supply and install?
3) Are you ever this far south (Sussex)? Robin

2008 needs a different kit, but yes I can supply /fit no problem. Except I'm not down that far very often.

Hmmm. Next Sunday not good I'm afraid. I would be able to travel some way if necessary to meet up.
With the kit you are suggesting, what functionality do I get? How much to install and fit? How long would it take to do? Robin
