AXA insurance - any issues?

Just had a quote of 264 for my 2012 RRS which is excellent.

Anyone had any bad experiences with AXA? 2016 RRS 4.4 TDV8 Autobiography Dynamic in Montalcino Red and Stealth Kit

Have you checked and ticked the additional options that arn't covered in their standard quote, like protected no claims bonus, drivers legel protection, etc etc, my qoute came in at 386 with all the options i wanted, (not all the options offered though.) I think AXA are as good as anyone else. Thumbs Up

We have been insured with AXA previously and claimed without any drama. As Ady says just double check the cover to make sure you're not comparing apples with oranges. Trek Madone 2.1.........

I think you'll find your location has something to do with the excess Skelly Sad

I managed to get my excess down to 250 I think with Aviva, but I do have a tracker and that was after A LOT of shopping around. If you do go with Aviva check out Quidco, I got 80 cashback when I took mine out and I see they are offering 70 back at the moment Thumbs Up

Some of the Quidco cashback offers here) BMW F31 335D MSport+ xDrive Touring - Mineral Grey w/ Coral interior
MERCEDES GL350 - Metallic Navy Blue w/Grey interior

GONE: Land Rover Discovery 4 HSE - Stornaway Grey w/Black Interior (starting to wish we'd kept it Surprised )

Finally rid of AXA. Will never, ever use them again because their customer service is so woefully poor. I particularly dislike the fact that they will not communicate over the phone.

Maybe a bit late in the day, but I had a bad experience with Swift (part of the AXA group) in that they loaded my premium after a no fault claim. An open and shut case, dash cam footage and everything, but their reason was that if I've had a no fault claim, then I'm more likely to have another! On a positive note, the claiming procedure and repairs were done very quickly.

Most other companies don't have this crooked practise, however, so avoid any company owned by AXA...

cheers
Simon

I had a no fault incident with a fallen tree and Admiral loaded my premium by over 💯%

Naturally I went elsewhere.

+1 for a bad experience of Axa. All good at the start and a cheap quote. However, some idiot changed lane on a roundabout without indicating and she was in the wrong lane to start with, so drove into the side of me. They wanted me to have a 1.0 kia type courtesy car as I hadn't ticked the right box. That didn't happen. It's now been 9 months trying to sort out and they have been worse than useless, not returning emails for months and when you chase they reply with 1 line. Basically they are trying to prove liability, although they'd have accepted 50/50 right at the start, it seems that's their default position. So I'm now out of pocket of my excess and can get no sense from them. Will never use Axa again.
