Heated door mirror question

My door mirrors would not heat to drive off condensation this morning. Everything else working 100%. Including front and rear screens.

The ambient was over 16C, might that stop them coming on?

I also cannot find which fuse covers them. MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

That would make sense, although it doesn't help when the dewpoint is well above that. MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

I guess the issue would be that not all models have the humidity sensor, and even then its inside the car so may not provide a correct dew point, but now that LR got our idea it might be on MY18 as an 1K option Very Happy .

Correct I believe. A good thing I think, otherwise it would be on a lot of times first thing, a further drain on the battery. John

They operate at any temperature when the rear heated screen is on.

Found the info, so turning wipers on can get it to heat even at fairly higher temp.
