2010 RRS TDV8

Hi all

I picked up my first RRS yesterday, from Ridgeway select in Wantage, (who had the wheels refurbished for me, and a full tank of fuel which was nice!)

It's a 2010 TDV8. So far I've over the moon with it, the TDV8 is an amazing engine, so far, very impressive MPG, and a lovely sound as well! I only discovered the dynamic mode today which was a nice surprise. Coming from a discovery 4, I'm amazed how different the car feels, and how nimble it feels too, much more steering feel then the Disco as well. I'm really looking forward to getting to know the car and doing many more miles. Here are some photos-

And next to the Disco 4

Very nice James, congrats!

what is Dynamic Mode? is that when you put the gearbox into 'S'? --

Many thanks guys,

Naks, from the instructions, it says that dynamic mode 'optimises vehicle traction, handling and driveability characteristics for maximum feedback and responsiveness'

No, having had both, the RRS1 differs from the D4 as it has (if spec'd) an additional 'mode' to select called Dynamic which stiffens the suspension and also tightens the steering from recollection. The 'S' just changes the way the gearbox behaves.
