Drips from door mirrors causing limescale stains

Hi, I have a 2016 RRSport and notice when washing the car water runs from the door mirrors for ages after washing/drying the car.

I noticed limescale lines from mirrors to bottom of doors, only way I could get rid of them was to carefully T-cut the area.

Has anyone else found this problem, didn't have it on my earlier 2010 RRSport? Arrived - RRSport 2016 HSE SDV6 HSE

Yes, much more of a problem than my earlier 2 Sports. RRS2 mirror casings seem to store water like sponges and release it at will. Sunroof tracks/seals do similar and are able to drip water on the windscreen surprisingly long after a wash. I have seen the marks on the door too but haven't paid enough attention to see if they disappear at the next wash though. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top

That's when you need to get the leaf blower out, to disperse all the water from the nooks and crannies. Works a treat Thumbs Up 2003 BMW M5 - 5 Litres of V8 Optimax Slurping Goodness in Carbon Black

Do your final rinse with water through a DI vessel, you don't have to dry any of the car then and any water that runs out won't stain. Nanocom Evo
