Piano black trim scratch removal?

Hi guys.

I picked up my 2014 RR sport yesterday from Harwoods in Basingstoke.

So far really happy but the piano black centre console is scratched from keys being left on there!

Is there a way to polish these out? A mild polish?

Thanks

Simon

I'm in the same boat..... My piano black is also slightly scratched and even cracked in 2 or 3 spots where something has struck it. You could try a car polish to get the scrathes out and then car wax for a protective layer.... I have not tried it yet but it seems there really is nothing out there for these types of trim. Even if there was, I bet it would contain the same ingredients as a polish and wax.

Scratches can be polished out as it have layer of laquer on top.

I improved mine on a full fat using the same method I use to remove scratches from any paint. G3 paste followed by t cut and polish. A Dremel with polishing pad would speed it up hugely but don’t allow overheating of the area being polished.

If worried you could remove the piece and give it a detailer to sort Range Rover Sport HSE DYnamic SDV6 Velocity blue 2020 MY
