Hi Col

Just a thought but how do those mods affect your insurance premiums?

Never even thought about telling Insurance Company, can't really see it would make any difference as only Cosmetic really not actual Mechanical or Structural mod. Only told them fitted different Wheels/Tyres and that didn't make any difference. All they would do If needed to make a claim is they would only pay the cost of a Original Part.

Cheers

I have told my insurance company of all my mods, if I was involved in an accident they will only replace factory fitted. This means wheels bumpers etc including mirrors............... as they were so expensive I want them replaced if any thing happened.
You'll be surprised even tinting your windows if you do not tell your insurance company they can void your claim. Every mod needs to be declared. Shocked

Do be careful. Insurance companies are NOT in business to pay out. RRS (MY13) Santorini Black SDV6 HSE luxuary

Spoke to my Insurance Company about the Mods, no problem they will just update alteration list and because it hasn't made any increase in the value of the vehicle there is no increase in premium.
