Green LR Badge on S/c Grill?

I've changed the standard grill on my V6 HSE to the S/c type as I do like the 'silver' finish BUT I would prefer the GREEN LR badge in place of the black!!

Has anyone else gone down this route? Not sure how to remove the original green oval without dmaging it - can anyone offer a green (tailgate) badge left over after a green to black rebadging?

Or does anyone know if the green oval is available from LR as a part in its own right?

Any advice much appreciated!

Badge is available from LR. On the grill you have to push the badge from the back - not sure how tightly glued the badge is but I've heard it's possible. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

I don't think you can just push and badge out from the back of the grill think you may have to drill a hole from behind it then try and push it out.

Perhaps you should have just had the standard grill painted or chromed as some members have done on here Idea TDV6 - gone

Buying the S/c grill seemed a good idea at the time but it's not (yet) given me the result I want so, in hindsight, I guess it wasn't the best choice. I'll just try to remove the green badge from the orignal grill before I start drilling holes in the new one!

Why don't you paint the standard grill before you ruin it, as Jay did. You will always be able to sell the SC grill intact as there is a constant market for those on here and else where.
But cock this up and you'll get a double whammy in the wallet. Wink TDV6 - gone
