Vibration thru steering wheel... anyone else?

So i am really enjoying my car... BUT! I can feel a high frequency vibration between 1100-1300rpm and again at around 2200rpm. It happens when going up and down the rev range and is also there when in park and neutral. I really notice it when my hand is on the top of the steering wheel. An its obvious and always there as the car wants to get back to those low revs asap for fuel economy. My dealer 'feels' it too and has had a go at fixing it but no joy. I am struggling to understand how this can happen on a premium brand.

oh... and a photo cause apart from the above... I do love it.

Wondering what Motor, this could help when asking if anyone else has had the issue.

Not something I have noticed but will check mine later and let you know if its the same, to be honest I don't keep my hand at the top of the wheel, its either focused hand position or lazy one hand with the elbow on the window sill Wink 2014.5 Mariana Black 5.0 Supercharged V8 Autobiography

Premium brand or economy brand - don't be fooled. Everyone who buys a premium b rand thinks the cars are superior or invincible - they're not & youll have to find out the hard way! $$££ - I learned with BMW E46 upgrading from a vauxhall corsa)

Back to basics whether its a ford-fiesta or a Ferrari - this could be engine / motor mounts - open the bonnet and rev the engine hard - does the engine move abnormal (some movement is to be expected) My Mercedes SL engine used to almost jump out of the bay!

Also get your dealer to take the car off the ground eg no wheels on the ground and see if it happens - if not than means maybe another mount or bush and happening when weight is applied to the parts - but suspended there is no weigh on it

Good luck, im sure your dealer will solve it - your lucky to have a newer car and perhaps warranty

Vibrations through the steering wheel

I had this and was also felt when the wheels were turned.
Found one of the hydraulic pipes which bridges over the steering rack from the active system rubbing together - felt like a CV joint was going - similar?

Old post, but did you get to the bottom of this?
Sounds exactly what my car has. Same year, different engine though. Very annoying! Big Cry
