Sat Nav Upgrade

Was thinking of purchasing the USB satnav upgrade from LR, does anyone know the dates of their version releases?
Don't want to buy today and they bring out a new version next week! ____________________

Not sure of exact release date but bought my 2016 version September last year, I think it is the latter part of the year they release them.

Is it a worthwhile upgrade please? I have upgraded on other cars at a much higher cost to find very little had changed. I sometimes use a garmin or Tomtom but they usually end up arguing with each other!!

According to their site the data is at Q4 2014 - not sure if that is just the lowest common denominator

Went from 2015 to 2016 and haven't really noticed any major differences not that I've been really looking, so depending on how old your current version is probably not worth doing every year to be honest.

I've got the original map on mine, noticed a few roads missing, M74 being one! New map ordered and should arrive tomorrow, I'll update with upload speed! ____________________

You could try a fast tick over may help but I doubt it. Smile probably cost me 50 quid in petrol as well. Laughing

I was thinking about upgrade also, but it is too much to update an outdated system. I place my Samsung phone over the screen when I need to use the nav map. The phone has a much better interface, and it is free.
