I am looking at a range rover sport Autobiography (very exciting)

Can some please advise me when the MY2015 model was introduced? I may be committing to a car and it was registered 14th July 2014, will this be a MY15 or a MY14?

Is there really anything in it, should i avoid the MY14 for any reason if it is and try and go a bit newer?

Another question: What are the lead times on a new purchase to actually getting a car, i understand this depends on different dealers, i just wondered as i may go for brand new one..

Sounds like a MY14 but to be absolutely sure you should enter the VIN into Topix and that will confirm. although it won't tell you if it is a half year model ie 15.5
Every few months (well twice a year and more in 2014 we have a 14.25MY) there are small updates, and incremental improvements, normally along with a price increase, so as with anything the more modern, supposedly the more stable since it's launch, in reality people have had new problems with different launches, so to be honest you should go for the best you can that meets your budget.
