Flashers too fast right side, RRS 2.7 2006

Hi
Someone who can tell why my flashers right side flashing to fast
This despite the fact that all bulbs are okay

Could it be relay cheater?
Where, if desirable sits this?
What is the correct part number for a replacement?

Its a Range Rover Sport 2.7 2006

Do you have LEDs fitted? Is it the external actual flasher that is too fast or just the flasher on the dashboard? Bodsys Brake Bible

Have Led mounted both front and rear .
Is it both the external (only right side) flasher and the dashboard that is too fast
But this happens only periodic occasionally

if its LED, do you have the Canbus style Led's? LED draw so little current that a car can think the bulb is not working, hence the rapid flashing

I would assume you need to buy canbus style LED's or place a resistor inline

Does the car still do this with standard filament style bulbs?

In common with most of the lights, the indicators are controlled by in-built FETs in the CJB (passenger fusebox). You need not just CANBUS LEDs but proper resitors fitted to get a reliable result so if you don't have these then that's your issue. Thumbs Up Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

50 Ohm ones are suggested to keep the amount of heat generated down - bear this, and water ingress, in mind in terms of location; can't be more specific not having a RRS I'm afraid. You should be able to source them from a typical electrical supplier. Thumbs Up Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

Believe it or not, the legal flashes for indicators is between 90-120 flashes per minute.
Many new cars don't meet this legal requirement, but it is occasionally used by the Police if needed, but is still on the books as a legal requirement, although you don't see MOT stations count the frequency unless an obvious fault.

Another old law still relevant and never repelled, is you shouldn't park closer than three feet from a kerb. Whistle
Evidently going back to the days before cars when rubbish etc was dropped from upstairs levels for collection.
Plenty more useless facts available if you research, can you imagine what would happen if you tried to park like that now? Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter John
