Who needs a shovel!

While everyone else in the resort was busy with a shovel digging their cars out, I cleared enough room to get into the drivers seat!

After warming it up while cleaning windows I promptly selected offroad height, snow mode and low range and drove straight out of the drift with no hint of a drama!

It has to be said these cars are a proper tool for all occasions Thumbs Up

Well done Buck your green laning experience helped. Maybe LR PR people should pay you for advertising the merits of these great vehicles. As you say a car for all occasions . Hope you had some good skiing. Current Merc GLE 3.5d 2016 model, 2011 RRS HSE standard
Previous 2012 FL2 liked but boot too small
Previous to LR's 3 x Merc E320 estates - fantastic load carriers and long distance cruisers, ultra reliable. Only changed as needed a 4x4 high tow vehicle. Did have a 1955 early LR drop down windscreen and fuel tank under the drivers seat; again very reliable and super rugged.

Hello Rob,

Trip down was tip top but as soon as we got off the Euro Tunnel I had a red restricted performance warning and no power! Big Cry

Stopped and plugged the IID tool in and had a weird fault code that I put down to the car getting thrown around on the tunnel! Good job I had it in the glove box! Thumbs Up

Hello Nigel, I dunno about the green lane experience but after a hard days skiing I just couldn't be arsed to start shovelling tons of snow! Rolling with laughter Thumbs Up 2003 BMW M5 - 5 Litres of V8 Optimax Slurping Goodness in Carbon Black

Next time you are around I wouldn't mind seeing the IID tool in action. Sounds like it stopped your holiday getting ruined. Have a great time. Current Merc GLE 3.5d 2016 model, 2011 RRS HSE standard
