Suspension fault

Hello everyone, here's my problem:

The car told me there was a suspension fault, turned it off and on again, cycled from access to off-road with no warnings and no problems. Then there was a warning that said 'car will raise when system cools' so I left it a couple of hours.

Now it is struggling to raise the car, it very slowly went from access to normal, and although the rear rises when off-road is selected the front doesnt seem to raise (the car tells me it's raising but doesn't) no faults or warnings are displayed

Is there anything to do other than call LR assist ? Is it something they would be able to diagnose and fix on the spot (sensor?)

Any advice appreciated!

Cheers

DrRob,

You're absolutely correct I was hoping I could fix it now (with no manuals or spares of course Rolling with laughter ) and if not was wondering if it's sensible to drive to work in the morning. However I'm able to work from home so I'm going to tomorrow and LR are coming tomorrow morning to assess it, and then we'll take it from there.

I should have just called them straightaway Banging Head Banging Head 26 Jun 2015 - Just bought my dream car - 😀 2010 RRS HSE

LR Assist came out today, read the fault codes and had a look at the car. He diagnosed the fault as most likely to be a a knackered compressor.

It's now in Yeovil landrover while they sort it out. They couldn't get me a LR car by 6pm today (my deadline not theirs) but got me a 4x4 so I'm happy with that. I'll find out tomorrow when they can do the work and when I can have my car back

Ive got a 15 plate shogun as my loan car - it's nice but it makes me appreciate my RRS even more. Bow down

In 5 months/8000 miles I've had a new instrument console and now a compressor under warranty. By the time the warranty is up for renewal I might have an almost new car Thumbs Up 26 Jun 2015 - Just bought my dream car - 😀 2010 RRS HSE
