Is the current LR 6.9% PCP really a good deal??

Hi all

With the base rate at just 0.5%, and mortgages coming in at 2.5% does anyone actually believe that the Land Rover/Black Horse rate of 6.9% on their PCP plans is good value for money in the current economic climate?

What other options, if any, have folk used to finance their purchases? Does anyone know of a reputable company offering a better rate for vehicle purchase?

Jim

Halifax only want to know you if you are an existing customer with an active current account. I have a current account with them but haven't used it for some time so was told I am not eligible.

Wow! 3.6% with the Halifax Flex Car Plan........sort of puts the 6.9% Land Rover deal way into the shadows.....

Sorry forgot to comment on LR finance. Definitely not competitive at 6.9% and their residuals are set quite low if monthly payment is important to you. Try Oracle.

6.9% is not bad, Lombard is the best and cheapest way of financing a vehicle if you are a company director - you are looking a 4%ish APR's
