I enjoyed my FL2, it was a brilliant car and I was certain that I would buy another, then I drove the RRS. Rolling Eyes

Good to hear you like the DS, hopefully you'll have your own soon. Thumbs Up Arrived: MY16 A/B SDV6 in Aruba, Ivory interior, piano black trim, black panoramic roof, spare wheel, blind spot monitoring, mudlaps and more... Twisted Evil

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

There is an interesting side by side test drive of the pre-Ingenium engined DSport HSE and Evoque Dynamic in LROI this month and the result is very interesting............... Buy the Evoque if you are going to be travelling alone or as a couple and buy the Disco Sport if you need to carry more than 2 people. The Evoque is better to drive on the road, DiscoSport better to take on rough tracks, alsdo Evoque has better load carrying capacity regardless of the seat configuration of the DS! On the next page after that test is a test of the Ignenium Evoque and the new DiscoSport HSE LUx Dynamic with the Magenride (The DiscoSport Sport!). LROI reckon that this solves the DS's rolly polly suspension and transforms on road handling and ride and the Dynamic version is the no brainer, must have option on the DS. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Done a few trips rural today and averaging 38-45 mpg so far according to computer and expect that will get better on a run and once few miles on clock Cool

Opened car last night and first thing I noticed.........

the rear interior courtesy lights came on as well as front Thud

that never happened on my RRS's even though they cost a lot more Rolling Eyes

Some nice touches -

Buttons in boot to drop middle row seats if need full load space Bow down

Auto high beam working seamlessly without fault so far Very Happy

Had my first warning light last night for TPMS showing 30psi on front nearside - checked today and every tyre had different pressures - front should be 37 so 30 was way out and rear should be 32 and worst was 38 - this came straight from showroom with me being first driver - so much for PDI Rolling Eyes

So far though permagrin is back Thumbs Up Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Tyres pressures - doesn't the DS TPMS show the pressure at each tyre and what it should be on the Service option in the dash computer? My 2014MY Evoque did and so does my RRS2.
I was chatting about TPMS with a friend who is DP at a major west London dealership and he had never found the TPMS display on his car, then he did and had a huge shock. His new RRS2 had been PDI'd in the dealership service bay and he thought the ride was a tad hard even for a Dynamic, hardly surprising when he managed to find the TPMS display, all the tyres were inflated to 50psi..................... 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Had a day test driving and my thoughts so far -

Ride is good but doesn't corner as well as rrsport but can live with it

Rrsport seats were bit more comfortable but can live with it

Boot is huge and that's with seats reclined all way back

Engine is almost silent even overtaking

Economy is mid to high 30s so bit disappointed and hope it improves

Overall very happy though especially with price compared to rrsport Cool Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Don't expect the MPG to improve by much, I haven't heard of any owner getting anywhere near the 40's yet and certainly nowhere near the claimed................. Evoque with the Ingenium engine is also similarly afflicted. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I haven't driven a FL3, sorry DS, yet but I had a good poke around one in the he showroom. I was impressed by how much space it has inside - much better packaging than the RRS2. It looked a lot better than the RRS2 it was sat next to too. That had black everything and looked like a whale in comparison.

I could see a DS on my drive if only it could tow properly. The tow limit of 2t is insufficient for my needs, sadly.

I reckon you've made a good choice muddy based on your needs. Enjoy Thumbs Up 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

I drag a 2.6t horse trailer not a tint tent so I'd be nervous of towing too far with it just in case... Thumbs Up

We had someone at the yard who pulled a two-horse trailer with an old BMW X3. Not sure it was up to towing the trailer at MGW though. Didn't seem to worry them but then I wonder if they even checked.

Went and picked up a new horse last week. It was one of those trips that reminds one how good the big Land Rover products are. The RRS didn't really notice the trailer on the back; when pulling away from a roundabout on the A43 a lad in an Escort tried to get by. He only stood a chance once I backed off at 50mph. Up til then the RRS was leaving him behind even with a tonne of tin parachute on the back. This was without the horse, I should say. When they're in the box I drive like a granny! Rolling with laughter

Brilliant to commute, tow and off road. The RRS really is very good when it's behaving! 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
