has anybody undertaken the dealer fit phone kit, If so what are your thoughts, also is it a project that could be undertaken personally.. or best left to the dealer to install

I did it on my D3, just got the dealer to do the steering whell buttons as I didn't fancy playing with the airbag. It's certainly dooable, takes a few hours though

Yugoslavia 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

I had the bluetooth PTI retro-fitted by the dealer, I thought it would be simple enough as most of the gubbins goes in behind the panel under the stereo - or so I thought! however, the buttons have to be fitted on the wheel which requires that it be removed........... so i opted for the dealer to do it. It's now back in for repair as the system crashed and even prevents the radio/cd from working.......... Crying or Very sad RRS TDV6 (gone)
RRS TDV8 HSE(gone, burned out)

Hmm... beware of retro-fitting anything. You never know quite what the fallout will be.
