Electric windows do not work anymore at front left and right

Hi All,

since some time, i don't know exactly my two front window doesn't working. The two back windows operating normal.
I have checked both connectors at the door (left and right) and also the fuses are ok.

Strange for me that left and right not working at the same time. When i press the switch for up/down there is also no noise from the door, so i guess there is no power /command to the lift motor.

I have checked faults with IIDTool but no error message.

I know there is a ECU under the seat connected to the switches from the door right?

Anything i can check, measure, reset?

To check the circuit i need electrical wiring diagram, but i can't find this on the web...

Thanks in advance for any help.

Frank

Disconnect the battery cables, then connect the cables to each other (OFF the battery) for 20 seconds.
Reconnect and see if it makes a difference. Bodsys Brake Bible

Hold the window close button up and keep it closed for 20 seconds, may just need resetting home position. Bodsys Brake Bible

i am still struggling with that problem...

is it right that the switches at the 4 doors connected to that ECU under the passenger seat?

is there any interlocking to open the windows?

is there any fuse beside that fuse for the window itself?

any idea what to check?

great news...how did you solve it ? Recently bought a 2007 RRS HSE TDV6 for a Pimp-My-Ride-Project.
DONE: Meduza front bumper, AB rear bumper, AB tailpipes, calipers repainted, rear upper tailgate upgrade, side steps, AB front grille, AB side vents, rear LED lights, clear side repeaters, integrated daytime running lights, LED headlights.
TO DO: color code sills and pillars.

I found the electric drawings

Than i opened both door covers and checked voltage on both motors...

When i pressed the switches for up and down the function was ok...

than i saw on the second page there is a contact B coming to both front window motors

When i disconnect this from motor windows not working. When i put that contacts C0740-6 and C0741-6 to ground it was working. But now i can open close without ignition on... i think that signal is a permission.

Permission ok 0V = Ground
Permission no = 12V

But in my case there was always 12 V so i have to make it 0 by contacting to the ground...

Now the question, how to solve this to get original back?

Hi Rhenus 132,

I had the same problem with my 2007 RRS windows. I tried your solution and it also worked for me.

Did you manage to find the real problem and resolve it, or have you stayed with your temporary solution. I would be interested to know if you found the real cause....

Regards
