Here's a pic of a friends RRS on the very remote Hay River Track in the Simpson Desert in Australia. It did the 7500km trip easily.

SVR in Estoril Blue

Scorpion ATRs are 275/55/20 and absolutely no problem. Had to adjust pressures to the conditions. Ran 27/30psi on dirt and rocky roads and as low 22/25psi on the sand. Sidewalls are quite stiff..We were worried about tyre damage before the trip. Carried 2 spares and didn't need them.
I have the same tyres fitted to my Sport,. The standard Pirelli Verdis pretty dangerous when the dirt road to our place is wet. Virtually no extra noise and just slightly harder ride. Grip on tarmac excellent.
By the way I was in my 2.7 D4 and accompanied by 70 series TDV8 Landcruiser. I used 25% less fuel than the Landcruiser and the Sport used 25% less fuel than my D4. Amazing! Easily the most powerfull vehicle on the trip and by far the most frugal. SDV8 arrived and fantastic even the infotainment!

Yes UHF aerial between spotlights and yes he did miss the tree on his left. But later in the trip we had to pass through 40km of narrow track with brittle bushes either side. Luckily he had the sides of the car treated with protective film! SDV8 arrived and fantastic even the infotainment!

I bet there were some gorgeous views on a 7500km trip across oz. Good old RR, Couldnt think of a better car to do it in 2012 Evoque

Hi Lobster,
You will love your new car and that fantastic TDV8 although you might miss the V8 sound that you had on your old one..And the Dynamic option is a winner although very expensive in my opinion.
Re the ATRs there is no rubbing at all. Speedo reading on my SDV6 with original tyres was 104kph equals 100kph on GPS. With the 275/55/20 ATRs it is 102 on speedo equals 100 on GPS.
As for tyre pressures I always run manufacture's recommended at 33 front and 36 rear unless I have a lot of weight in the back in which case I up to 42 in the rears. Of course on the dirt I drop to say 25/28 and in sand around about 20.
