Phil, not that you should accept a dealer giving you these extra 'sunshine swirls' but give Michael at GemClean/Mulgari (Superclean on here) a call as he will make your car beautiful again. 2015 - HSE Dynamic - Santorini - Stealth Pack

This appears to be the dealership's fix to my paint issues (that they inflicted) - crappy Autoglym Super Resin polish or similar:

SRP won't fix the problem, that'll only hide it for the short-term... I'd be heading back to get a proper fix done and for them to clean up the nasty polish issue they've left.

That's both appalling and insulting Shocked

Cheers..

That's ridiculous from the stealer.

Poor boys black hole is a great product, either by hand or by DA

Make sure to add a coat of hard wearing wax though afterwards, or it'll wash off.

I'm telling everyone about Bilt Hamber double speed wax...... Super long lasting, chemical resistant and great beading

Dear all,

"Always be positive and constructive" is my life style, but some things need to be said.

The Rolls Royce of SUV's, both on and off road can take you "Above and Beyond", but cannot take a simple wash, without scratches on the plastics all over the place.
No one at Land Rover has ever noticed this poor quality...?
Even a newly delivered car isn't free of scratches on the high gloss plastics.
It's so damn visible!

Is that why Land Rover invented the "Stealth Pack"? "No Gloss No Fuss" Embarassed MY2015 RRS SDV6 Autobiography Dynamic, Corris Grey, Santorini Black Roof, Ebony/Pimento interior, 22 inch Hawke Chayton

I watched the gloss bits being fitted to my car, being protected in the while film, being transported to the dealer with the film attached, and have photographs of the dealer washing the car.

Tell me who's fault it is.

These dealer 'features' they add before you pick up your pride and joy or after a service cost me a lot to get resolved by the detailer (thanks again Superclean). I now have a laminated A4 I put on the dash asking politely 'Please DO NOT wash this car' when its at the dealers. It's worked so far. I am now the only person to wash the car and have zero swirls and nice shiny reflective piano plastic surfaces.

I have even offered to show their 'vehicle cleansing operatives' the two bucket method and towel drying approach (rather than a dirty bucket of water with a two year old chamois). 2015 - HSE Dynamic - Santorini - Stealth Pack
