As promised went out to fit them earlier, dead easy and they look fantastic. Thanks again, Tasmod - excellent work.

Cheers

Nickp,

I think the fitting instructions probably read as follows:

1. Unpeel double sided tape
2. Stick plate to car
3. Step back 2 feet and admire

Yeah, RRUK pretty much has it right!

It's def worth doing a dry run first (i.e leave the adhesive backing strips in place) just to make sure you feel how the rolled edge fits up against the curve of the car's bodywork correctly. Mark where you want them to sit exactly with a pencil or some such, something that will obviously rub off and not mark the paintwork. I think it's worth using a static point of reference on the car to ensure they are in the same place on both your left and right sides... I used the leading edge of the plastic of the seat base.

But I'm complicating matters - stick them on and admire! Take a cloth with you to buff them up as they do get a bit fingerprinty after you've installed them.

Cheers

Got mine installed today, very easy.. just lined them up with the plastic tabs on the upper step of the interior, you don't notice quite how much the original painted sills are scratched till you polish them up! my drivers side already had quite a few small scratches, these sills look fab and protect the sills effectively. (still think they should have been standard!

They look the Biz, specially on Java Black.. Thanks again for sorting these Rob.

Hi Kam all you need to do is go to the picture you want then right click whilst on the pic. You will see a new box/widow pop up. Go to properties and the copy the address/url. When done .... close window. go back to topic/thread and click the tag "image" then paste in the address/url that you have copied... then click the tag "image" again.

Take a look by hitting the "preview" tag... if OK ... submit

Thats it. Very Happy

Hi all,

i've had another 10 sets of sill plates made as per originals. These will probably be the last with the full 'Range Rover Sport' name on them.

Will there be another run with a different look?

Jeff
