I think there's an important distinction here; if it was sold as an ex-demonstrator then it should be to LR standard and dealer needs to ensure that everything is as it came from the factory. By the sounds of it though it is a car that the previous owner returned and therefore second hand like any other used car - not the dealer's responsibility to rectify. SOLD - 15 plate Estoril SVR

SOLD - 64 plate Aleutian Silver Supercharged

SOLD - 63 plate Corris SDV6 Autobiography

Hi JSR2014,

While you at it, spray all four of rims in the color of the spare.
Black wheels are for wanna be gangsters with guns.
Guns so big, they don't even fit a RRS... Yawn

Agreed. It was sold to me as an ex demo. However I'm honest enough to admit remembering a reference to it being a return at some point in the conversation, and the reason of the gun for the return.

That being said, it WAS sold to me as only 1 previous owner, the original owner still had it taxed so it is rather confusing. If it were sold back to the dealer surely this would not be the case? The V5 states 2 owners before me. Again I was not informed of this and assumed the dleaership were selling on behalf of the previous customer.

As a sales director I guess that my standards are higher and that the customer would at least be informed of any change to the vehicle from standard spec, even if just for insurance purposes.

They must have known when they PDI'd it at the very least. Courtesy costs nothing and I'd expect that when buying a £90k car.

However, ultimate responsibility lays with me, no matter how unethical it is.

Ps Dickie: don't be bitter because I bought this instead of yours 😜

Is the service pack transferable to another dealer? 2014.5 Mariana Black 5.0 Supercharged V8 Autobiography

I think you're right to be a bit miffed, esp if you're now the 3rd owner when you were led to believe you'd only be the second.

Mine's not even on the market yet, I'm sure you would have bought it if it was though! Incidentally I've no idea where to price mine. 64 plate, Nov 14 registered, 4,500ish miles, several extras (22s, surround camera, In-Conrtol etc) - any ideas? SOLD - 15 plate Estoril SVR

Sounds similar to mine. Paid £87k(ish) so that's where I'd punt it if selling privately Smile 2014.5 Mariana Black 5.0 Supercharged V8 Autobiography

Lol.

We need to get a couple of SVRs along. That should sound like a few big guns firing. Not sure what calibre those exhausts are though Mr. Green
