United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Stornoway Grey
Alloy wheel damage

One of the things that was made apparrent to me at the Driving experience yesterday was the amount of damage that the alloys fitted to the Sports at the centre. I commented to the instructor and he told me that the wheels curently fitted to the D3 and the Sport are proving to be a huge problem for the centres as they are not dished as on RR and Defenders, the centres of the alloys on Sport and D3 actually sit a little proud of the rim and get scuffed very easily (I have already found this with the alloys on my car when I offroaded it) by rubbing on the ruts you travel through. LRE Dunkeld are investigating fitting Range Rover or Defender wheels to their demo fleet to preserve the looks of their Sports and D3 wheels.
