I think the premium ones are just thicker than the standard ones. The standard ones that came with my car are perfectly adequate and seem good quality.

Order sounds nice by the way, can't beleive it'll be a year since I picked mine up this weekend! Arrived: MY16 A/B SDV6 in Aruba, Ivory interior, piano black trim, black panoramic roof, spare wheel, blind spot monitoring, mudlaps and more... Twisted Evil

Gone but not forgotten:
2014 RRS2 SDV6 HSE in Loire Blue
2011 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE in Santorini Black

As soon as I took delivery I took the Autobiography ones (I assume premium) out of my car and use the rubber ones - saves time cleaning all the muddy footprints off.

The mats are just kicking around in my garage, I'm sure if someone was to cross my palm with silver I'd be happy to let them go to another home - promise I'll be cheaper than the configurator! SOLD - 15 plate Estoril SVR

SOLD - 64 plate Aleutian Silver Supercharged

SOLD - 63 plate Corris SDV6 Autobiography

I too favour rubber mats, I much prefer being able to take them out and jet wash them and let them drip dry. I suppose, arguably, a carpet mat is more luxurious but I'm not really bothered.

Just received a set for my car, look fine but of course the driver's mat is too small to protect the carpet in the most heavily used position. I know they don't want the mats jamming the accelerator but you'd think this is a potential problem they could have dialled out from the outset. Mark

Absolutely.... fixing points at the top...... the same as the ones near the seat...

Eye hook facing upwards would do it.. or a two piece clasp....

For those that haven't seen this link.....I recommend these ... they really protect your carpet

I have bought them but can't pick them up yet.. In the mean time my new carpets are trashed with this weather here... 2014.5 SDV6 AB Dynamic ... Fuji /Santorini Pan roof and 22's

The rubber mats are great at protecting the carpet. But may I ask, protect the carpet for whom - the next owner?

because I don't want mine looking like Censored during my ownership......

and the RR set are useless at protecting against mud and slush..... Twisted Evil

beneath the pedals in the footwell there is no protection whatsoever..

Weathertech have come up with a solution that is workable and can't get caught in the pedals....

You'd of thought the designers of the best 4x4 could come up with something better....

lucky you..... it's not driving up muddy lanes that trashes carpets .. it's walking up muddy lanes and then getting in the car that does the damage Laughing

My car is 4 months old ..... my carpets look Censored are discoloured and salt stained badly already .....

Wouldn't care if it was something that was easily replaceable off the shelf... but it's not the matts that are damaged ... 2014.5 SDV6 AB Dynamic ... Fuji /Santorini Pan roof and 22's

I tend to swop over from rubber mats to carpet mats for the summer and back to rubber for the winter. Mark

United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Alaska White

Swapped the order round drastically after a weekend long test drive in an AB.

Decided we wanted the two-tone, black roof white body look.

Re-priced up the new options, and then compared the cost of the HSE Vs HSE Dynamic.

The options at the point were the following:
Fuji, saw Yulong in person and hated it - looked Lilac to us?
21" Inch diamond turned wheels
Privacy
Black Pan roof fixed
Meridian 1k
Gloss black interior
Heated steering wheel
Fixed side steps (must have for us)

The Dynamic cost an extra.................. £13 per month Shocked No brainer in my opinion!

Just for my own knowledge, asked them to go away and price an AB with just side steps and privacy, the rest of the options are standard.

Came to an extra £80 per month.

Crazy how the GMFV changed so much, had to take the AB with two-tone ivory ebony interior, sliding black pan roof.

Order changed, deal almost done - Happy 1st of March everyone Very Happy Very Happy

Going in tomorrow to swap my HSE Dynamic with lots of extras to an AB with not quite as many. Still more money but looks a better deal.
