Lane Departure System, Auto Dimming Headlights, TPMS

Hi Guys,

Topix tells me that I have Lane Departure warning system, how does one turn this on/check its working? I have tried (when the roads are quiet) wandering between lanes but nothing happens, same question for the auto dimming headlights, also, is there a way to view tyre pressures through the TPMS.

I have looked through the manual for all these things without joy!

Thank you!

The High Beam Assist headlights can be switched on via the menu in the instrument panel and using the steering wheel controls. The TPMS tyre pressures can be viewed in the same menu system but only with the ignition on and the engine off. For some inexplicable reason you cannot access the screen to read the tyre pressures when the engine is running. I've had a few cars and indeed a couple of motorbikes with TPMS and all of them would allow you to monitor the tyre pressures on the move but it seems that this is beyond L-R

Sorry can't help with the Lane Departure system

Lane Departure is an option - are you sure you have it?

Lane departure warning is listed under Driving Aids in the Manual and also under Driver Controls. There is a button on the dash near the steering column that turns it in and off. It can be controlled via the instrument panel menu also. It is speed related so comes on above 40mph. It also operates by a camera I think located in the rear view mirror which needs to be able to see lane lines.
