Enough said. 

Hi folks.

Just a quick update on [my] situation; JLR have been back in touch with me and they're now saying that they will "definitely have a fix for the gap around the boot lining in mid-February (2015)". The person who called me has said that the engineers have now 'developed' the fix and that I'll be being contacted by my dealer soon with a view to booking it in to be done.

All good, then...? Well, hopefully. It's the last bit that worried me a bit. JLR are obviously going to have to put all their lads on a crash course on how to fit whatever it is that they've come up with to fix this. And this is a major worry for me as they couldn't even put my mucking fud flaps on straight. I suppose that I'll just have to hope that they don't botch it up and then drop it off one of their ramps after they've finished.

Just for the record - I managed to get an article written up in Auto Express on this. They were very understanding....

So I hope that some of you get similar news soon (if you've complained, that is) and that this gets put to bed for good.

And when mine is done - it's going straight on to Auto Trader  MY14 RRS2, Corris, Pano, 50/50 Cirrus/Black leather, Meridien sound, 22" Style 6's, Bespoke Gap around tailgate.
