Australia 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Fuji White

in terms of motoring offences this was extreme policing http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-21651104 unbelievable that they could think this that acceptable behaviour, i wonder if they would have been pulled up if this was not video'd and went viral.

As said on here, the Police in the UK have to deal with some crap and dish out some in a measured manner, lucky for the motorist in his full fat ego machine he was not committing the offence on the African continent and dealing with 3rd world plod.. Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

It's a failure of management on several levels. He shouldn't have been in the position where he did what he did in the first place, and he shouldn't have then been subjected to continued ribbing from other rozzers.

As with so many organisations, the guys pulling the bigger pay cheques weren't doing their jobs properly, only in this case the tax payer ends up funding the compo... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I agree management failed - he should have been charged with criminal damage and sacked then his colleagues wouldn't have taken the Mike Whistle

Who would of thought a thug like him was so sensitive to people laughing at him Rolling Eyes

The legal system has failed also for awarding the money - they could of awarded a token sum if they felt obliged to find in his favour according to the law Confused Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Picture comment....

PC Mike Baillon (left) complained he had become a 'laughing stock' over a YouTube video of him using a truncheon to smash into a pensioner's car.

Totally excessive! The guy who smashed the window should be forced to pay for it out of his wage. Then he should be dumped from the force for overly aggressive behaviour.

What a bu***.
They dont know if a guy who doesnt stop when followed for long time is drunk, car stolen or anything else.

If he was drunk and killed on next corner, most people would complain why police had not stopped him..

typical police I parked up the other day next minute police park up next me to me facing the wrong direction leaving no space between bumpers on a busy main road, not offending anybody who is over weight copper just about fall out of the car. I explained to his fellow police officer that it not wise to block other motorist in on busy main road as it could cause an accident, upon informing the driving officer he grunted tough. I walked of to buy a parking ticket suggesting that he should go foot petrol to lose a few inches lol.
