RAnge rover sport DISCO trim clip removal 'damage free'.

HI I'm a new owner of a RRS 06 and it's my first LR I have ever owned and I just thought I would share a pearl of wisdom that I found to remove the yellow white plastic side mouldings clips from driver passenger and rear doors. (As most of mine were flapping about)

I looked on several sites this being the main one and found that you have to use a screwdriver which is a high risk to damaging the paint work and a trim removal tool didn't have enough room to work so I found an easy option, Simply get a soldering iron allow it to heat up and basically stab the plastic fixing straight in the middle moving around in a clockwise motion should then loosen the back retaining clip and you can pull it away whilst hot and melted and malleable,

I can't Guarantee that you'll get everyone out without falling into the door but it's a lot better then using a screwdriver with brute force and ignorance, with a high risk of damaging your lovely paintwork!!!!. Thumbs Up
