£500 for the wheels, you are going to need to get them refurbished as well. I would put a condition on the sale that when you get them refurbished, if any are buckled or have cracks, you want a full refund. 2006 RRS SC Bonatti Grey (the 55th car/van I have owned)

So you say £500 is a fair maximum bid to go for?

If they were in immaculate condition with brand new tyres then it would cost you lots more. I think £500 is fair enough because you are going to pay for a refurb and you will need new tyres anyway.

I brought a single wheel with a reasonable tyre on for £120.

I may be well off but they are not brand new and need work doing to them. Your time and money taking them to get refurbished etc. 2006 RRS SC Bonatti Grey (the 55th car/van I have owned)

Over 2 years ago I sold the same style wheels in a very similar condition with Pirelli Scorpion Zero Asimmetrico tyres with 3mm tread. I am not saying it was a fair price ( Big Cry ) but I got £280. At least it wasn't on eBay so I didn't have any fees to pay.

I would agree with MW that £500 is quite high. Something like £300-£350 would be more realistic in my opinion. It would cost you at least £250 to get them refurbed if you are bothered about cosmetic damage. Then at least £800 for a new set of decent tyres.

Why not try forum sponsors? They often have good deals on almost new "take offs". I bought a set of latest style (at the time) genuine alloys with Michelin tyres from Duckworths and it cost me less than tyres alone if I had bought elsewhere. May be inapplicable now because of RRS2 wheels/tyres not being the same size as RRS1 but worth trying the sponsors anyway. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top

I have a set of these, they will need a refurb as they are scuffed & one has peeling from a poor repair job (before I had the car) but all true & straight with no cracks etc, yours for £350 if you want them? From memory think 2 have Khumo's and the other 2 on conti's with about half tread left, been off the car in the garage for 18 months now so about time I got then shifted Laughing located in wolves so not far from you to collect Thumbs Up MY07 TDV6 HSE Stornaway & Ivory
