FM radio reception poor?

The FM radio reception in my new RRS is definitely worse than in my old L322 FFRR and loses the signal in areas where the FFRR didn't. Is anyone else not happy with their radio reception?

i contniually have problems with DAB, always in one particular area, as i drive through you can guarantee at the exact same place every time i start getting interferance then a 100 yds further on it cuts out altogether, and this is in a large town, not in the middle of nowhere.

I live 100km from my favourite FM station and have no complaints about reception given the distance. Plenty of other stations available too. Rod SDV6 (14.5) Corris Grey NZ Spec + door mouldings, mud flaps and tow bar
Also Audi A1 Sport + - (wife's rocket) and 1985 BMW 628 CSI
