Olly what's happened I am not going to be able to look at this for a couple of weeks now so hopefully when I get back I can get stuck in  Range Rover Sport 2009 Stormer edition.

Ok, while waiting for Olly's write up, I've gone ahead and fitted my Alpine. It certainly looks and sounds much better , just one question on the original plug what is the wire colour for the reverse signal and the parking brake signal?

All fitted now, with steering wheel controls all working, total cost £100 for the loom adapters, steering wheel interface, facia and amp bypass kit.
Brodit iPhone holder on order to tidy up the iPhone lead, fit the reverse camera and do Olly's Magic trick to get my info screen back

love it, get we a detailed write up and parts list, what happens if you rear head rest screen and factory dvd unit fitted,

Rear screens and DVD player depend on the double din unit you put in, the one I've fitted (alpine IVE-W585BT) has a rear entertainment setting and also allows a separate DVDS player to be connected. I notice you're in Wolverhampton so Bassjunkies on Neachells Lane will have everything you need.

Olly where are you?, I hope you can get the write up done as this will be a nice project to do over the xmas holiday.

I am going to look at this over the Christmas period unless beer gets in the way,I am not sure where Olly has gone as I have sent him a PM & had nothing,but had a wee look @ the parts Olly mentioned to buy & unless I have made a mistake I am not sure the parts are correct or enough of but will spend more time on this next week.

Just had fun fitting the rear camera this morning, used a wireless system which actually works not bad for £20.00
