United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Zermatt Silver
Completely Flat Battery on return from holiday - 10 days

Is that normal? So flat everything is dead.

My14 RRS 2 registered 31/10/13 so not exactly ancient.

Has the standard RR Tracker installed which first alerted me to problem as I got a call from the monitoring service.

Also I assume that means that the separate battery built into the Tracker will be depleted as it was Wednesday they called and will be tomorrow (Sat) before LR Support can come and get it started. MY2010 TDV8 purchased Jan 2017
MY14 HSE Dynamic 3.0 SDV6 sold Sept 2015
MY 2010 TDV8 sold April 2014
MY 2007 V6 HSE sold July 2013

My RRS1 has done this, twice. The car was parked in the same place, and hasn't done it when parked elsewhere, so I suspect it could be a motion sensor or something in this particular spot either stopping the car from shutting down properly, or keeps waking it up.

Not normal. Ours was fine, having been parked up, alarm on, for two weeks in the summer. 2022 P440e AB

Did you lock the suspension into access mode? I was told by my dealer to do this when leaving the car for long periods of time, apparently if you don't it can drain the battery. Arrived: MY16 A/B SDV6 in Aruba, Ivory interior, piano black trim, black panoramic roof, spare wheel, blind spot monitoring, mudlaps and more... Twisted Evil

Gone but not forgotten:
2014 RRS2 SDV6 HSE in Loire Blue
2011 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE in Santorini Black

Nope.

Suppose that locking stops the salf levelling.

Maybe you car suffered a number of earthquakes during the 10 days parked up.

You based in Iceland? 2022 P440e AB

Update

Land Rover Assistance spent nearly 2 hours checking for electrical issues that may have been the reason it drained in that time. They say it should last six weeks.

The end result it now needs to go into the dealer for further investigation. MY2010 TDV8 purchased Jan 2017

Be interested to see if mine is flat when I get back to Melbourne Friday night. Will be about 11 days. Dealer assures me it will be OK. SDV8 arrived and fantastic even the infotainment!
1983 2 door Range Rover ARB Bar X9000 winch ARB Rear Bar now semi retired.
Many big trips done in this one.
1982 Rangerover nearly restored.
22 Defender D250 with lots of stuff for outback touring
Nice 2013 Freelander TD4 manual (for daughter to learn on) with much better stereo compared with previous SD4 SE with Meridian which sounded bad!
2013 Land Rover Defender ute.

Latest development.

Car with JLC in S London all day. Not possible to carry out tests for current drain as battery not holding charge so vehicle kept in overnight and battery being trickle charged in the hope that enables charge to be kept long enough to complete tests.

I am no expert but sounds to me like the battery is U/S MY2010 TDV8 purchased Jan 2017

So got the car back today.

After an overnight trickle charge apparently the battery passed all the tests and there was no obvious source of discharge.

So I am none the wiser and left wondering what will happen next time I leave it standing. MY2010 TDV8 purchased Jan 2017
