iOS 8.0 Upload Failure

Hi all (well - iOS 8.0 users),

There is a bug in Safari in iOS 8.0 which means that you cannot use any file uploader - either the one when posting a message or the gallery one when using iOS 8.0 on iPad or iPhone.

Quote:
[Apple] users have noticed that after upgrading to iOS 8.0 they cannot upload files from Safari. The new iOS version has a bug that renders sending files by browsers impossible. When you choose a file in a form on HTML page and try to submit it, no file is sent in the request. The browser indicates that it's waiting for a response, but in fact the response never comes.

This is not a site issue, there is nothing I can do to fix this, Apple will have to fix this and get an update out - hopefully ASAP. Like this site? Buy some RRSPORT goodies to show your support!

I just downgraded back to 7.2.1 for my iPad mini, IOS 8 is horrible. The whole bookmark menu etc has changed sides and when you select a bookmark, you have to tap the book icon again to go back to full screen.

I've not yet ventured in to iOS 7 territory following all of the reported problems with it. Is the latest version of iOS 7 now considered ok?
